BENEFIT FOR BIGELOW HOUSE MUSEUM

Six historic houses in Olympia will be open for tours. Docents will be present in each home to share historical and architectural information with visitors.

The homes on this year's tour are:

  • Bigelow House Museum, 918 Glass Avenue NE. Built circa 1860.
  • Yeager House, 1409 SE 10th Avenue. Built circa 1890.
  • Lybarger House, 1056 Boundary. Built 1887.
  • Sears House, 2412 Columbia St. SW. Built 1924.
  • Fleming/Longaker House, 3140 Maringo Road. Built 1932
  • Lord Mansion, 211 - 21st Avenue SW. Built 1923.

Tickets are $15.00 each. Included in the cost of the ticket is dessert and coffee at Chica's Café at 105 Legion Way SW.

Tickets are available at the following locations: in downtown Olympia-Dree's, Archibald Sisters, and Popinjay; in Olympia-State Capital Museum; and in Tumwater-Thompson's Country Furniture. Tickets will also be available at the Bigelow House Museum, beginning at 11 AM on the day of the tour.

This year's sponsors include Olympia Federal Savings, City of Olympia Heritage Commission, Olympia Historical Society, Chica's Café, and Batdorf & Bronson.
