What does Oly think of abstract art? I see many galleries hosting artists who create figurative works. I wonder if this community, or any community for that matter, prefer figurative over abstract art work?

The common sort of

The common sort of figurative work that is seen around Olympia would be referred to as Figurative Abstraction, or Representational Abstraction, as opposed to pure abstract painting that doesn't reference any thing or any one in particular.
