Access denied?

I am going to hope it is just a glitch in the system. Tried to post something on a recent blog entry only to have an "access denied" error message come up. Glitch right folks?

I think it was the links in your comment that triggered the spam filter.

I don't carry lethal weapons everywhere I go. For instance I do not carry at work,which I believe I mentioned. I do hold the the peculiar and radical notion that self defense is both a right and responsibility. I refuse to let the state be the only protection I have.

You have not given me much reason to trust your answers. They are just too dang convenient.

Either you are up to something, or as has been seen in a sig line elsewhere I am confusing for conspiracy what could be explained away as incompetence.

I trust it is the latter.

That being the case, I assume the "spam filter" still has the two posts I tried to make last night? I further assume you can turn one of them loose, as they are essentially duplicates of each other? I could just as easily repost again, but I want you to prove that they were simply trapped in the machine.

and the system twice said "access denied" which you in turn blamed on the spam filter. I trust you know how this system works? So which "bug" was it this time?

Given how I can push a button with the best of them (pun intended) I presume this was a strange and wonderful new system error.

That's the politically incorrect screen that comes up when a comment on OlyBlog gets grabbed by the spam filter. All it really means is that your comment is awaiting moderation and all attempts to comment until that one has been moderated will be rejected by the program. I believe, as you show here, that you can still post blog entries while denied from comments thus proving that hoping it's a glitch instead of knowing, is wasted energy.

Why is it the right-wingers seem more enamored of conspiracy theories than the liberals and hippies? My comments have been caught in the spam filter, too -- access denied! And for some reason, I thought it was just the spam filter. Maybe I lack imagination. But I can manage to imagine one thing: A blog where people don't lash out at the administrators and docents, who give so much for so little, whenever something goes a little bit wrong. What do you think they owe you, anyway?

I reserve most of my venom for one person in particular, but I digress. I may have been wrong about this particular event, given some other problems. I am still not convinced of the pure innocence of the entire system.

At any rate I've seen plenty of left wingers with amusing conspiracy theories.

I don't believe I've heard Drew complain that Olyblog glitches are part of a scheme to repress his freedom of speech. And I haven't heard Drew accuse the hard-working Olyblog volunteers of incompetence when a glitch occurs. I have to say, I think it's very rude to show an utter lack of appreciation to the people who donate time (and I suspect, money) to operate a blog that one posts on.

I think I've mentioned this before. If, and I mean if because I don't believe for a minute it would happen, the docents were going to be in the habit of playing Access Games with those they perceive to be "troublemakers", then I would have been hit, and I would have been hit hard many, many times. It hasn't happened yet.

Many times I wonder why I even bother tattooing brickwall imprints in my forehead but when all is said and done I have to admit that OlyBlog has always allowed me to say my piece, even if it was just long enough for the gang to jump on me. True, there've been times where I'm right and everyone else was just so unbelievably wrong that it wasn't even funny, but that hardly counts as censorship.

There are a lot of bugs in this website's program. The people keeping it running aren't necessarily computer gurus, and even if they were they have jobs and family and other good things which are high priority. Please, maybe in some areas they need to cut us some slack, but when it comes to their integrity in giving us a chance to be heard I'm allowing them all the slack they need.

Please give me a second grace. Please give me a second face. I've fallen far down, the first time around, now I just sit on the ground in your way.
