Or perhaps not.

But take heart. The lonely dots are joining together in a community. Becoming an organic thing that will reveal the beautiful pattern of nature. Perhaps.

And now, without the lines of linear thinking, the little dots float as helpless individuals in the vast existential void.

An esoteric bit from the early 1980s.

I'm still mulling over this one. I've read it over, I've read the pro/con statements. Does anyone have an input they'd like to share? Brave enough to let us know how you'll vote? In the end, I can't help but feel we are either giving more money to lawyers (evil) or giving the same amount to insurance (evil) companies, with very little oversight it seems.

Nov 10 2007 - 9:00am Nov 10 2007 - 4:00pm America in Solidarity and AM 1090 are proud to present the first-ever Northwest Progressive Convention, taking place Saturday, November 10th, at First Congregational Church in Tacoma. This event is the first of its kind in Washington State, and we hope it won't be the last. We here at America in Solidarity know how important the progressive movement is to improving the lives of America's working families, and we are happy to do provide this opportunity for the Northwest progressives to come together under one roof. The good folks at First United Methodist Church were grateful enough to offer us the venue, and many other tremendous organizations have pitched in to make this a success, including the ACLU of Washington State, the Washington State Fair Trade Coalition, Health Care for All Washington, and Washington Public Campaigns.

Where'd the personality test go? It looked like a fun thread.

Joe keeps Papa November: Especially check out his recent photos of flame autumn leaves against blue skies. Peregrinate is kept by Mike Kretzler:I had a wonderful time as a Boy Scout. My troop had a scheduled outing each month and in that way went on my first backpack at age eleven. I learned how to build a fire, cook a meal over flames, carry my gear over miles of muddy trail, sleep in a tent in the rain, and generally have a good time in the out of doors. From that early experience, I was able to become a confident hiker and backpacker. I've carried that with me for over four decades. Sky Cosby also blogs on Pirate Papa: I consider myself to be a pirate in some contemporary sense of the word. This is the lens through which I try to view our world. I am a nice pirate, where others rape and pillage I salvage and sow; where others sack and burn I liberate and grow. Read What I've Got to Say from Jack: I feel like I ran a marathon on my hands yesterday, but the soreness is negligible when considering the awesomeness of my juggling last night. I was at the Evergreen State College Juggling Club for nearly four hours and basically juggled non-stop that whole time. Robin Snow blogs on Rowan Shadowwolf: |
