(from the American Vegan Society) VEGANS (pronounced VEE-guns) Live on products of the plant kingdom. Veganism is compassion in action. It is a philosophy, diet, and lifestyle. Vegans exclude flesh, fish, fowl, dairy products (animal milk, butter, cheese, yogurt, etc.), eggs, honey, animal gelatin, and all other foods of animal origin. "It is the position of the American Dietetic Association and Dietitians of Canada that appropriately planned vegetarian diets are healthful, nutritionally adequate and provide health benefits in the prevention and treatment of certain diseases." "Livestock are one of the most significant contributors to today's most serious environmental problems," senior UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) official Henning Steinfeld said. "Urgent action is required to remedy the situation."

What is the difference between a terrorist and a revolutionary? Suppose some invading force came to America claiming that our government was based in terrorism, that it's people were enslaved in an inhumane political/economic structure, ect... How would you feel? Would you welcome them or resist, and in what ways?

A new life form has recently been discovered in the Hanford area. I heard about it from that guy. For lack of a better name, I'll call the animal The Flying Rat. I'm not talking about a bat . I'm talking about The Flying Rat. According to That Guy, who says he has seen them, it looks like a normal rat, but it starts flapping it's ears at a very rapid rate, like the wings of a hummingbird or bumblebee, and the rat actually lifts off the ground and can fly several hundred feet very quickly, biting the nose of any unsuspecting human unfortunate to be in their range. I guess when these Flying Rats fly in a loose formation and gang up on a cow or goat, it is not unlike piranhas attacking a nutria. The sound of an unruly gang of Flying Rats descending upon a victim is apparently quite chilling. Remember, you heard this story on OlyBlog first.
