PLEASE ATTEND IT WILL AFFECT ALL OF THURSTON COUNTY

May 14th 5:30 pm Tenino High School at the commons

The more people that attend the better. A summary of the issue is detailed below, please read this... Proposed Logistic Center

In cooperation with the Port of Olympia, The Port of Tacoma has purchased approximately 745 acres formerly owned by Citifor. It was the site of a munitions plant located near Maytown between Scott Lake and Tenino. The South Sound Logistics Center ( SSLC) would encompass 300 acres for warehousing. Remaining acres would include a distribution site for trucks and trains to sort and transport cargo, with other industries and manufacturing. An 18 month feasibility study began in July of 2006, but plans for the center are well underway.

Possible Impact:

· Noise Air and Light Pollution - The 745 acre facility would be the size of a small city, and would 24 hours per day, 7days per week , creating non-stop noise, light and air pollution in our neighborhoods.

To my wonderful three children, survivors, all of them

Winsome as a woman—soft as a smile—
a full moon is throbbing sultry and wild—
blushing and flushing,
engorged with delight,
her rose halo gleams o’er a darkening sky.

Laden with new promise—kissed by the breeze—
the future calls out on a seagull’s faint scream—
heady and steady,
rich as whipped cream,
the night air is drenched in perfumed evergreen.

Listen and you’ll hear it—a lunar lullaby—
the song sung by mothers to babies throughout time—
etched and sketched
in hues of pale light,
air brushed on rainbows and twilight’s goodbye.

No more comments without admin approval?  Tell me this is just an oversight and not policy.  If it is policy, it is full of hypocrisy.

Mr. Richards got away with 'douchebaggery' referring to Kevin Stormans - are your comment policies not applied universally?

I mean this as sincere as you can read it, please remove my account if all comments will be moderated in the future.  You'll end up creating an illusion for yourselves by not allowing full participation.
