Or is it a clean machine? I remember some hub-bub last year or so about a machine that perhaps Joe Hyer had been slightly responsible for purchasing with city money.. that roams our sidewalks with big scrubby spinning brushes attached at the bottom. I see it in parking lots I had assumed were private.. cleaning and driving around.. I work in a building that overlooks the Artesian Well as well as FishBowl. A couple times a week... I see our big expensive Green Machine cleaning those two lots. So... I have a handful of questions. Is that big green cushman looking contraption being paid for out of the city budget? Are the Parking Lots I see it cleaning public or private? Does the PBIA get money if the guy driving it cleans a private parking lot? What happens if the guy driving the Machine only ends up cleaning private lots instead of public lots? Who is his boss? Where does quality control come in? How much overhead does the machine use...?
