Customer Service seems to be declining in Olympia, Washington. While I do not know the specific laws governing whether or not a restaurant has the legal obligation to offer washroom facilities to their patrons, I do know there is a point when common decency should override an establishment’s policy. Read the story on Stonewall Baskin Robbins, comments are enabled there for discussion.

Can anyone snap some photos of the evolution of the metal utility pole on Harrison near Division, the pole in front of the vacant lot on one corner of that crossroads? This is the pole that has sported the Weird Poster we've discussed earlier, the most recent manifestation from that mystery group has been black and white flyers with ASI printed on it. Those taped flyers now sport some added stickers that I'd love to see photos of. Since we are talking flyers and stickers on a utility pole there is no guarantee how long this will last, but hopefully we can capture it. I'm all excited by the fact that someone is actually in conversation with those previously stark and somewhat intimidating posters. A shout out to whoever added the stickers, thank you.

Probably not as big a thrill to everyone else as it is to me, but Mrs. Larry is taking me to Manhattan Transfer's Saturday Night Show at Jazz Alley on September 29th. Happy Anniversary to US. Nothing like some great vocals. |
