...while walking to the store: "Human Rights: One Size Fits All" ...I thought that was good =) So, I had a odd day today...almost an overload- -I'm going down to the Fourth Ave around 10 tonight to watch some music played by a friend and relax. cheers

From CNN: The congressional oversight committees said Thursday that the Americans targeted included military officers in Iraq who called friends and family in the United States. This should be pretty interesting, a civilian intelligence agency conducting operations aimed at military officers in Iraq calling friends and family in the U.S. If it's narrow in scope that's one thing, but if this was a broad net I think it's quite another. The NSA operates in "strict accordance with U.S. laws and regulations," she said. "Any allegation of wrongdoing by employees is thoroughly investigated" and if misconduct is discovered, "we take swift and certain remedial action." If you believe the NSA operates "in strict accordance with U.S. laws and regulations," you're going to be disappointed. I think it's necessary to a degree to not abide by laws and regulations, but these allegations are shocking in that American military personnel are the ones targeted. Jim Bamford (Body of Secrets: The Anatomy of the Ultra-Secret National Security Agency, A Pretext for War: 9/11, Iraq and the Abuse of America's Intelligence Agencies) interviewed the former linguists who are making the allegations, which the NSA is saying are "unsubstatiated."

For Greenhouse: (35) 2'x12' Palruf pvc clear roofing ($750 Value) (2) bags of 250 count roofing screws w/ rubber gaskets (2) boxes of 50 count wood screws (5) "bendy" boards all the rest of the frame we already have We are writing a grant to help pay for the greenhouse but any donations will be greatly appreciated and are tax deductible though our non-profit status. Donations can be made of actual items or money to help pay for them. To get to Terra Commons, head north on cooper point road and take a left on 36th ave NW. Go .8 miles and take a left on 36th loop and take the first driveway on the left and go all the way to the end. You will see our office and nursery there, hard to miss.

Just curious if anyone has a take on this stuff- -is the bailout a cover for defense allocations? I'm not so sure anyone, and without oversight, how can citizens be sure? Would the US shut down the Internet if "terrorists" were "proven" to be using the Web to coordinate more attacks? what happens then (and I mean, what hapens to truth then, or is all the silly truth stuff just for kids) -any thoughts? and PS: post [on OlyBlog] are taking way to long to post, is something wrong with the server or database? |
