![]() Saturday is the Special Membership meeting for the Olympia Film Society that was requested by signed petition of the membership. If you plan to attend this meeting and cast your vote, I urge you to explore both sides of this issue. www.olympiafilmsociety.org has the meeting agenda, a list of Board of Directors achievements, a statement for and statement against the bylaws change. www.ofsvolunteers.com has alot of information from the perspective of the group of OFS Volunteers who gathered the signatures for the petition to call the special meeting. Be informed and decide. Make your vote count by reading the related material and not making a knee jerk decision based on information you heard at the coffee shop or from someone's one-sided rant. The future of your Olympia Film Society is at stake.

My wife sent this email to a list of friends and family. I think its a great reminder that there are groups and individuals out their actively working to take away our choices and our rights. She wrote "Our rights to our bodies were taken away before, and it CAN happen again. Please spread awareness, and vote so that our sisters, nieces, daughters, goddaughters and granddaughters can protect themselves." Here is a picture she took this this morning to show how low they will stoop.

While indulging in spirits last night, a former Ralph's Thriftway employee confessed to me that multiple people have reported strange happens in the store, specifically late at night. Things falling off shelves, freezers mysteriously turning on and off, eerie rattling and unexplainable voices. |
