Members of the community are encouraged to build your own racers to "compete" in the races, which will be held in our back yard Saturday, April 26th! This sounds so fun, both to create, compete, and to watch. Get the story through Olympia Salvage and info and guidelines at Hazard Factory.

Speed and Power Always!

We (Tim, Laura and I) are building a router motor driven dragster. The thing is nasty. Frightening. Two exposed circular saw blades will drive it recklessly down the plywood track. Weeeeee!
Been looking forward to trying this for some time, ever since the Discovery Channel ran a series of half-hour shows on the original group in San Francisco who starting this thing, holding their races annually in a local junk yard. Heaven for us gear heads with too much time on our hands.
