About a month ago, when we had the Washington state primary, Rob Richards brought up the possibility of Democrats voting in Washington's Republican primary. This resulted in an interesting, though brief, discussion of the legal and ethical implications of cross-party voting. I came across a video clip today, which I found interesting in light of our earlier discussion. It seems Washington isn't the only place where a political advantage could be obtained through these sort of techniques, and Democrats aren't the only ones to consider using them.

I'd like to request that this discussion (i.e. thread) be mostly restricted to discussing tactics and election laws, and that respect be shown between members of opposing political parties.

I'm disgusted.

I made my views very clear on Rob's thread. These kind of games are unethical, cynical manipulations of the process. "But it's legal" counts as ethics.
