Some problems. Comments do not move posts to the top of the "Recent Posts" page. In fact, one comment I made on an old post as a test does not even show up on my tracking, much less on "recent posts." Also, I can't subscribe to anything, I'm getting the "Access Denied" message instead. So there you have it. Caimans must be chewing on our cables.

Anti-caiman team is launching into action...

...even though we're going to have to pay them time and a half for working on the weekend.

I see

by your docent discussion the guy to contact is "Nat" which is "Tan" in reverse, which is what you get when you spend time in South America. I sense a caiman conspiracy here. I know you have enough trouble from other quarters without me (but that is the price you pay for being a creative public service oriented visionary) but none of your detractors have really focused on your true agenda-- the sinister plot of the CAIMAN MASTER!!! I know caimans are now a tired and worn out subject, but facts are facts.

Anyway, good luck on solving the problem. It is very weird how some posts cooperate while others do not. The result is that it breaks the flow in discussion. No big deal if it can't be fixed, but it will change the way OlyBlog is used.

stevenl,

<<I see by your docent discussion the guy to contact is "Nat" which is "Tan" in reverse, which is what you get when you spend time in South America. I sense a caiman conspiracy here.>>

 That is hilarious.

Hilarious

yet oh so painfully, horribly, tragically-- true. *Sob!*

Ironic, eh?

And

in spite of popular opinion, the caiman threat to Olympia is very real. OK, call me Cassandra. I'm used to it. Now that the cold weather is here, they are retreating to the warm confines of the steam plants at the Capitol Campus and via the steam tunnels, at the underground of TESC. A few delegated caimans are assigned to act as lobbyists when the Legislature meets, and they will not be noticed among the others. This is why I have been an advocate of draining that body water once known as "Capitol Lake" but now called by the intelligentsia as the Fetid Lake of Doom (or FLOD, thanks for the acronym, Crenshaw!) so we can locate their tunnels and block them! Imagine an army of OlyBloggers with rubber boots walking the mud flats, picking up trash, performing a public service, and at the same time scouting for signs of the LARGE REPTILE INSIDIUOSNESS!!! Really, though, we have already had several OlyBlog cleanups along the shore of the FLOD, maybe now it is time to coordinate with Washington State Dept. of General Administration for a cleanup once the FLOD is drained. We have until Spring to prepare for the caiman onslaught. Let OlyBlog be the vanguard. Of course, in order to do so, we have to fix these little glitches in the system in order to communicate effectively. But each day that passes without the fix is like another tick on the time bomb.

Maybe this can somehow be coordinated with Moxlie Creek

daylighting. But seriously see Guglielmo blog from couple months ago; it seems about time this was brought up again.

OK

I added two comments to the all-sacred Fudge post and the system acted like no new comments were made. I'm shocked! Shocked, I tell you!

Not to pile it on or anything

but in addition to the above mentioned ills, I now notice the "search" function will not pick up posts made today or yesterday. Try searching "Ungovernor," (Greene fails to show up) or "Mishkar" (Sarah's last post)
