i dont know about oly blog, its main function seems to bore folks. no one seems to catch the real news that sometimes gets posted. instead people just kinda bandwagon on to certain issues or, on being i guess the word is an i-troll. as to actually promoting stuff or real serious content most people just post cute little videos they got from u tube or some such or, rehashing issues to death (ala' evergreen brouhaha cop, student riot). i dont really know yet as even though i had an account for a while my access to computers was and is still limited but improving everyday. maybe with more perusal of this medium i will see beyond the banality that seems to infect this medium. just want to see if you are still all thinking rational monkeys and not just punching buttons like those one guys writing the complete books of shakespear.

Please fix your "Shift Key"

Us dyslexic monkeys have a hard time reading without banal cues like capital letters at the beginning of a sentence. Man, imagine what it would be like without vowels!

You forgot the "e"...

im not dyslexic it's called dysgraphia

i am trying to type more to gain more skills in this regard. All small motor skills are affected with this ailment which makes it very hard to communicate as its very frustrating going back and forth making the same mistakes over and over again. also i have to admit im not much of a fan of the bard he was a hack. Rabbialas (sorry in advance for misspelling) give me Pantagruel and its scatological humor, poop every where and written by a monk/priest. i talk way better than i type and i cant even read my handwriting let alone others doing so. well later tater, wasted p.s. just a time note this took me about 10 or 12 minutes or so to type.

Didn't say you were.

I am. And I was letting you know that those upper case cues can be very helpful...just in case you were one of those people write who writes that way as an affectation or somekind of statement about silly conventions. 'tis all good.

writing skills. I have to work at this.

You have commented a couple times in different things I've posted on my spelling or grammar. I know its unintended, but i really have a very hard time putting writing on the page. I will try harder to check my copy but it gets harder as the frustration level builds also if i have an emotional attachment to the issue I'm writing about or such. My writing gets worse as these levels rise. Also since i never really used the written word effectively all the rules of language comma,period,ampersand,semicolon,etc.. that most folks are cognizant of are a foreign language to me. Coupled with my clumsiness on the keys ( I will always be a two fingered typist who has to look at the keyboard to see where my fingers are at.) even this effort took me what seemed like forever. I think I'm getting used to spell check though so my skills might improve a bit. this post took probably about 15 minutes later tater

What operating system do you

What operating system do you use?  I can help you find 'ease of access' tools through Windows XP or Vista.  If you don't have XP or Vista and your computer will support it, I can make a call and get you a copy, free of charge.

Would a speech-to-text application be something you are interested in?

»

yes

That is one thing I really want to get. something called dragon or some such. I will be getting a Vista OS I think. If you can assist me in this matter it might be about two months before i have all the particulars ready but that would be a great help. just private message me. thanks, later tater

I NEVER comment on spelling or grammer

You are thinking of someone else. As someone who cannot spell worth beans, I cannot through stones. I've only suggested that some people like me have a hard time reading when people use only lower case letters. If following those conventions is difficult for you, don't worry about it. Some people just write that way for the "fun of it." Apparently, you do not. Like I said, it's all good.

I think you mean "throw"...

...but if you mean "through", PM me. I wanna through stones, too.

Doh!

or is that dough?

bUttHaTShARdTOrEad

this was your post which is case jumbled. so i guess if we are splitting hairs this is what I'm commenting on. and truly it was an aside comment with no real criticism to it. i was just saying that of my total of very few posts on oly blog you have commented on my content regarding the rules of the written word. that is all. Later tater eat the rich the poor are skinny

Alright, I've checked out some Pantagruel...

,,,and your man is no Shakespeare.

Hack? Come on. Rabelais is interesting - I'll give you that.

World's apart, our two heroes are.

»

Good Point

Maybe I am just a button pusher.
»

Thanks for the recommendation...

...I'll check out some of that Pantagruel.

The Intro to the series:

Readers, friends, if you turn these pages
Put your prejudice aside,
For, really, there's nothing here that's outrageous,
Nothing sick, or bad — or contagious.
Not that I sit here glowing with pride
For my book: all you'll find is laughter:
That's all the glory my heart is after,
Seeing how sorrow eats you, defeats you.
I'd rather write about laughing than crying,
For laughter makes men human, and courageous.

BE HAPPY!

Aha! Thank you very much for your reference for you have...

...educated me.

I was just inspired to do some searching and came across this. Must be where Monsieur Crowley got the "Do what thou wilt" "Book of Thelema" thingy...

I read a lot

those that can do, those that can't teach, and those that can't teach, teach teachers those that can't write, read.
»

So i guess the answer to your original question...

...."does anyone read all the stuff you post"...would be - Yes.

I scan OlyBlog

when I use this space I do tend to scan everything. But I sometimes don't log in for days or weeks and hence I miss a lot. But I do notice that the posts seem mainly along the same general lines. I will check out this medium more often, and I will also polish my writing skills in the process.

This is all making me look incredibly good

Oh...

...silly me, I thought I WAS talking to you!

Fabulous!

"I'd rather write about laughing than crying, For laughter makes men human, and courageous."

Thanks, Yoda and Rabelais!

Good luck on the polishing, Hazzardus!
