Bake Sale Benefit for Works In Progress outside the Capital Theater which is showing the movie "Body of War"

Hope to see you there. JLW lasagna will be available as long as supplies last. Bring your money, those nasty Federal Reserve Notes in your pocket compromise your integrity when they could be turned into print.

Marylea and I plan to be there to help staff the WIP table if our help is needed. If help is not needed we are simply going to throw some money away on delicious slow food.

Hope to see you there!

Lasagne Update

This thistle, which just 24 hours ago was the crowning glory of my garden, has been baked in a lasagne, and is ready for the sale. Also on the menu: Two classic Italian type lasagnas (mostly organic, made with sausage from local vendor Stewart Meats), organic brownies, vegan cake with vegan chocolate frosting, gingerbread, and vegan shortbread. Cookies have been promised. All we need now are hungry people with disposable income. Please come down to the Capitol tonight (6:30) and tomorrow (9 p.m.) before the movie ("Body of War") and have some goodies for a good cause.
