Oly public Bloglines is loosely organized, currently I have about 30 feeds stashed under "Personal". I'm going to go through the list and introduce this crew of local bloggers in a series of posts. America Ya Gotta Love It is Jerry Farmer's blog, he is a radio columnist for KRXY 94.5 ROXY:I seem to be cursed with a sense of the obvious. Parts of my mind immediately jump to the retrospectively obvious conclusion. I say retrospectively because not everyone sees it as obvious, including me, until my twisted brain points it out. Laura blogs on Angstmama: I can’t say I’ve become a wise person yet, but I’ve learned to not judge a book by it’s cover; that leading a quiet, ordinary, and thoughtful life is noble; that you can’t confuse the idea of being ordinary with being common; and that I’ll probably always be a hopeful person. Jon and Jessi blog about "their foster to adopt parenting experience." on Building our family: One of the aspects of being a foster/adoptive parent is that bonding and attachment can be a challenge. In the early days of our time with T3, we were concerned about this, and through the state, we enrolled in this attachment clinic. The first part of that was having Jessi and I individually take T3 to their office for this videotaped test. Jacob Stewart gives us an "eclectic view of life, family, and work in Olympia and environs" through his Cosmos's Condo: I had this breakfast at Cicada in downtown Olympia, which I highly recommend. They are a great NW / Cajun Fusion restaurant with four star food, a lounge, and a great inclusive Oly Vibe. Emily keeps Emily's Life - Welcome to the Adventure: I love Jesus more than anything, even when I don't feel like it. * I'm fiercely independent, sometimes to a fault. * I despise thong underwear. * Bad drivers make me crazy. * I love to laugh and wish I laughed more than I do. * I want to adopt when I grow up. * Sometimes I wake up on the wrong side of the bed and just stay grouchy - deal with it. * Worship is one of my favorite things. *

Thank You!
Submitted by JstPlnOnry on Wed, 10/24/2007 - 8:41pm.for posting this! After reading the latest post from 'Jon and Jessi blog about "their foster to adopt parenting experience." on Building our family' I was addicted and couldn't stop reading all the posts! This blog really hits home for me and I literally had to pry myself away from the computer to fix dinner! I love their candor, honesty, and openess. I can actually feel their emotions in their writing and that's a hard thing to convey!
Thanks again!

Submitted by Ehver Green on Sun, 10/28/2007 - 11:40pm.This is my family blog. Amanda, my wife, is a wonderful mother and quite a crafty girl. She makes cards and throws really great parties and pretty much everything else to run our house. This evening we had about 8 familites at our house for a pumking carving party. Too bad we didn't get pictures of the 18 pumpkins we carved!
Sarah, feel free to add this under a local blog under A or Y.

EG ~ your kids are total
Submitted by OperaGirl on Mon, 10/29/2007 - 8:23am.EG ~ your kids are total cuteness! And I was going to say that you are a really big nerd for mowing CHS into your lawn but last night my husband carved his pumpkin into a Timberline football helmet that he could actually wear on his head! At least he won a trophy for it? Nerds. =)

Thank you!
Submitted by Ehver Green on Mon, 10/29/2007 - 9:47am.They look like their mom, fortunately. Their mom is quite the cutie. =-)
Too bad the tiebreaker is in Lakewood. I thought it would have been better for all 3 teams (Timberline, North Thurston and Capital) to play at Tumwater Stadium.
No matter what, no matter how cool I try to be, I'll always be a nerd. I haven't accepted it but I embrace it!
Yay! We embrace our inner

This has been a tough year for Timberline. =(

EG ~ Well RATS!
Submitted by JstPlnOnry on Mon, 10/29/2007 - 3:11pm.OG took the words right out of my mouth! Your kids & wife are gorgeous and that blog is addicting! I can't wait to try the sugar cookie recipe! (Did I mention I'm a recipe addict?!) What year did you graduate from CHS?
BTW ~ Given I have a grandson at Tenino HS, I have to mention that last Friday night, Tenino played Forks and won 13-8 putting Tenino in the playoffs for the first time in 24 years! If it hadn't been for my grandson taking down a player that broke through 4 tackles before Reese got to him, Forks would have won! The coach has touted Reese for saving the game and putting them in the playoffs! I've heard they're playing La Center this Saturday, but I don't know where though! Too bad CHS lost to Shelton last Friday night... Who knew Shelton would be the big rival over OHS!?

I'm a Blazer
Submitted by Ehver Green on Mon, 10/29/2007 - 3:16pm.My wife graduated from Capital in 1993 and I graduated from Timberline in 1993. My birthday is January 24th, hers is the 30th. We were both born in 1975, 6 days apart!
My son, Sam, is a 'lil Coug. His favorite football player is Riley Wall. This includes the NFL and College so I wanted to do something for their game against Shelton last Friday night.
Thank you, JPO!
CHS Plays Tomorrow Night
Submitted by JstPlnOnry on Mon, 10/29/2007 - 6:37pm.I hear. My 18 yr. old's best friend is a senior there this year and a cheerleader. All my kids have gone through Capital and my youngest is a sophmore there now. Half the team lives in my neighborhood!
I wish them well! But my heart's with my grandson in Tenino! 24 years since a playoff is a long time!
