SJM 8016 would request investigations into the impeachment of certain Bush Administration officials. Yesterday it passed out of the Committee on Government Operations and Elections. SJM 8016, which has been courageously and patriotically pioneered by Senator Eric Oemig, travels onto its next destination in the Senate Rules Committee.
» Excitingly, Oemig's Impeachment Memorial has a parallel companion bill in the State House of Representatives. The lead sponsor of HJM 4027 is Representative Chase. Congratulations to the Senate Committee on Gov't Ops for passing this important bill, and congratulations to the State of Washington for taking action to protect itself against damages from the Bush Administration.
