Here is a little shot I took, somewhere in Cheetwoot. Can you guess where this is? First one to post where this is (which building counts) gets to post the next teaser!

Is it City Jail?

(see subject line)

Nope...

I've never been in Olympia's jail, so I could not have taken the picture there. I did take the photo myself, and I took it earlier this week.

Looks Like

The building that is kitty-corner from Jack in the Box at Plum and Legion.  1/2 block East on Legion, South side of the street.  You enter the building from Legion and that sign is on the front of a partitioned reception area.

That would be the probation office

And it is not the location of the photo I took, though a more complete version of the same reference is no doubt posted there as well. You're closer - much closer - to the mark.

By the way, that is also the building the Oly Detectives use as their office (825 Legion Way). Look for the boxy trucks with the Enterprise Rental license plate holders between 4pm (Probation office closes) and 5pm. Maybe that should be another Copwatch edition "Know Oly?" segment!

Jeff Kingsbury won...

We have a winner!

Jeff indicated during the June 3rd city Council meeting that he recognized the picture's location. It was right next to his desk, under Doug Mah's nose. Doug saw his gesture out of the corner of his eye and was a bit confused for a moment. Peek at the City Council video at 45:27
(Link to View Video for June 3, 2008.)

You might have to open the archive which is entitled: City Council and Study Session Meetings Archive (Includes Agendas and Minutes)

I wish

I could see Jeff Kingsbury's face. That's hysterical.
