Caught part of that this morning

As I was groggily eating my cereal -- the story was about half-way through, I think, and I missed a bit more getting ready for work. I was particularly surprised to hear about tidal water @ McAllister Springs.

What are we accepting as a reasonable prediction

A map referenced in this post is in rather serious conflict with sea level shown in this map if you assume a one meter rise in sea level. The former appears to assume a 7 meter increase in sea level. As we begin our conversation about how Oplympia should react to eventual sea level rise, shouldn't we come to terms with our assumptions first? What's the good science say folks?
