What is trust? More importantly, in regards to this event...What is a land trust? A land trust is a not-for-profit organization, organized to preserve and protect the natural and man-made environment by, among other techniques, creating conservation easements that restrict the use of real property. Many activist, not-for-profit and progressive causes need a space to have their meetings, their events and their classes while preserving the land from multinational corporate interests. Perhaps its time that we all come together and in an open forum and discuss our united options for the future.

Below you will find an article about the 100 million dollars that is allocated for the Olympia area in land trusts for the year 2009: http://community.livejournal.com/freeschoollove/5125.html
