Riding on the idea of creating an expansion site for Gun Enthusiasts I'm thinking the following might be a good idea for Olyblog.

Olyblog could be split into categories that people could click on based on their interests and where their participation would be strong. Ideas include News, Events, Hobbies, Nightlife, Homelife, Recipes, etc.

While Guns would normally fall under Hobbies, keeping them separate would seem an agreeable compromise: those who just can't stand them could keep away, while the fans would be protected from attacks.

Another idea in this vein would be to have one of the categories be Women Only; this would allow women who have been turned off of Olyblog to have a 100% safe-haven. Men would not be allowed to participate, including Docents (Perhaps a female Olyblogger could be made a Docent so that they may help with issues that may arise - of course Ms. Docent would not be limited to the Women Only page.)

A person could tweak their settings so that when they're logged in their favorite category is their front page.

This is probably a Pipe Dream. For all I know Drupal isn't compatible with this idea. Perhaps there's a cost involved where my upcoming $10 donation would be as a drop in the ocean that's needed.

Interesting...

I would think it is technically feasible.  From what I have read about Drupal it would seem to be workable.
