Join Lucky Cat Radio Promotions at their Grand Opening show on Saturday, May 17th, featuring live music from Glass Elevator, The Hard Way, Z Kamp, and The Transport Assembly.

Lucky Cat Radio Promotions is a company dedicated to promoting independent music at college and noncommercial radio stations around the United States. The company was founded by former KAOS music director Melissa Suther, and includes Tammy Tillinghast (also a former KAOS music director) and graphic designer Anna Horvath.

Currently, Lucky Cat is working with Seattle label Broken Twilight to promote a handful of releases, including the record "Improbable Songs" by The Transport Assembly.

The Grand Opening show will include a live deejay and should be a lot of fun. Come on down to The Voyeur on 4th Avenue in downtown Olympia at 9 pm. See you then...

The Hard Way put on a great

The Hard Way put on a great performance at Art Walk, and also last month at Eastside. Them and Glass Elevator on the same show means it's going to be a great night.

Oh yea, I am so proud of

Oh yea, I am so proud of Melissa and Tammy. You both were my favorite music directors and it was tons of fun to be a part of the Music Director team at the time and go to SXSW and all that. Like you are starting a promotions company, I hope to someday soon start my own record label.

Reasons to Choose this show

Reasons to Choose this show over all other Saturday Night entertainment

1. It's free.

2. You can get some Vegan food.

3. You can put some grafitti on the wall in the back without being thrown out.

4. You probably won't disturb any downtown apartment dwellers.

5. You can choose from the largest International Beer menu in Olympia.

6. Presumably everyone will be over 21, you won't have to deal with those damn kids.

7. It's the inaugural event of a small business owned and ran by women - Support Women!

8. Performers The Hard Way recently had an Eastside crowd on their feet and begging for more.

You can blow out a candle / But you can't blow out a fire / Once the flames begin to catch / The wind will blow it higher
