From the 5th October Olympian

The Mason County coroner determined that the Parkland cancer patient who died after being mauled in a Shelton nursing home died of natural causes.

Michael Warner, 55, died Sept. 12 after puppies mauled him and used him as a "food source." Warner's daughter and caretaker were arrested and 27 dogs were taken from the home. Warner was dropped off at Tacoma General Hospital, where doctors discovered his injuries and called police.

Natural Causes

Yeah, the puppies were hungry - all 27 of them. That's natural, I suppose.

I don't know if it's natural to leave a feeble person who is being treated for cancer to fend for himself amidst a pack of 27 hungry puppies though.

 I'm paralyzed...is this true?

Yes

Coroner says he died of cancer related causes and not from the injuries caused by the dogs. Story

I'm glad those responsible for this horrible neglect are in jail.

I confess I posted this for two reasons

1. the headline.

2. to give our animal rights readers a cause for pause.
