That's not real is it?

Nope

It looks like an HDR image with some additional Potoshop tweeks superimposed on another shot of the moon...as seen from Apollo 12. Nice looking image, but not of a "real" event. Of course, we could quible about reality all day, but that wasn't your question.

It is an HDR image, with some additional tweeks to bring out the colors/contrast yadda yadda...but i pulled the moon from another shot (same night) and put it into this one, added the reflection to the lake :) if someone even pondered this as real, i'm flattered ;)

my Apollo 12 hypothesis was a bit of a reach. I haven't done much HDR rendering, but it can sure result in some very interesting images. I'll have to give it another try. Glad you're putting your stuff out there.
