Submitted by Logarithm on Wed, 02/27/2008 - 12:22pm.Bert, It was so impressive because it was able to tell the recent history of Iran in a factual, yet funny way. It was a tragic tale told with much humor. The main character was so sympathetic and real that it shows that a life lived halfway around the world can be like our own. Plus, the animation was cute! :]
I'm just getting started on

Submitted by enpen on Wed, 02/27/2008 - 2:33pm.Working through an external service is really the way to go: flickr, google pictures, etc. After that it's just a matter of learning a little bit of html in order to embed them into your posts. Once you get an external account let me know and I can send you an e-mail that walks you through the steps.

I didn't forget
Submitted by enpen on Thu, 03/06/2008 - 11:18pm.All event posters are pictures I take while walking around downtown. If an event isn't represented it's because neither a poster nor a flyer were put up in a place I was walking.

Submitted by stevenl on Sat, 03/22/2008 - 7:20am.enpen, do you have a suggestion for some spots to visit if we want to see these in their native habitat-- where the Oly posters tend to congregate?
You're an art anthropologist! I'm enjoying this series.
my spots
Submitted by enpen on Sun, 03/23/2008 - 10:46pm.Rainy Day Records, Dumpster Values and Old School are almost always on my walks. Everything else is pretty hit-or-miss. The library has a pretty consistent stream, but for some reason I only recently clued in on taking pictures of posters there. There should be poster boards in alleys...
I'm glad you're enjoying it. I feel more like I'm paying my dues as an outsider, learning from the existent local arts in order to better develop my Olympia poetry.
