Since our first concert in December of 1998, OCS has been pleased to donate over $60,000 to various charitable causes. Donations from this concert will be passed through to a most worthy organization entitled Ibsen Adoption Network. The is a private nonprofit organization located in Olympia that is dedicated to encouraging the adoption of special need children through education, support and financial assistance to families in Washington State. The focus is on children who are older, who are part of a sibling group and includes any child who is trapped in the foster care system awaiting a permanent family, or those in orphanages, or living in the streets. Their mission includes children who have special physical, emotional, or development needs. Adoption of special needs children is a complex and heart-rending problem. To the extent we can, OCS is proud to assist those undertaking to address it.
