The OMJP sponsored a day of action in recognition of an international plea for human rights. There was also a call for an end to human rights abuses by the government of the USA.

I noticed someone with a sign asking, "What about the Geneva Accords?"

I know I meant to post it but I don't know if I actually did but, did you ask anyone about what the Geneva Conventions actually say about "protected persons?"

Today's event was a success.

Today's event was a success. The message had a high degree of visibility, everyone had fun, and no one got hurt.

I'm not bummed, I just don't

I'm not bummed, I just don't think half (if not more) of the people present would not be capable of maintaing a coherent, academic discussion.

I feel the same way about anyone on the street. Usually when there's protesting, from any ideology, the discussion is reduced to cliched chants and signs.

I prefer to talk to the adults when having a discussion.
