It's clear and dry outside. What's on your mind this fine day?

Bad case of the winter blues this year.
Almost considering "dropping the top" to honor the Sun Goddess (does anyone remember the Ramsey Lewis/Earth Wind and Fire classic?)
As James Brown would say.....

Submitted by Anonymously Larry on Thu, 01/17/2008 - 11:31am.Rob - I'm betting you'd have loved the illusions that Earth, Wind and Fire used to do during their old tour days. Most of this was organized and staged by Doug Henning (the little hippy dude illusionist). Included was levitating Verdeen White over the audience and turning him into a Bengal tiger.
In today's tours, the only thing that disappears is the beer. :0

Submitted by OperaGirl on Thu, 01/17/2008 - 9:05am.I always bring plugs but we never use them. Owen will wear something this year. We'll bring Terry's headset that he uses for woodworking. I grew up around rock bands so this is nothing to me! =) It's really not that bad. Now the smell of the exhaust can be a little much!

I like left handed jazz. Coltrane, Miles, etc. Unfortunately, few people agree. Of course, there's Brubeck/Desmond
Our group actually does "Take Five" because we have a percussionist with the chops to play a 5/4 solo.
Don't mistake EWF for jazz - more "jazz influenced R&B".
By the way, I'd classify that tune as "lightenin'" rather than "sunshine"
