Submitted by The Fire Inside on Tue, 06/17/2008 - 8:58pm.Are awesome to see take off and land.
There are a lot of UH-60 "Black Hawk" helicopters around here and I'd say they're a lot more interesting to watch than other aircraft.
It's cool seeing the pilots and crew chief in their gear, too.
I think it was the Mig
Submitted by NWarty on Wed, 06/18/2008 - 7:25am.I think it was the Mig (17?) that buzzed my house with full-military power. Our whole friggin' house shook to its foundation. Man...that was awesome. Then on Sunday, the F/A-18 Hornet, came over the back yard in a hard, left-hand turn at probably less than 1000 feet. Gawd I love the sound of those throaty Pratt & Whitney Wasps in the morning :)
Did I mention I'm a huge aviation fan? ;)
