Pictures from July 27th biomass incinerator protest in Shelton

Mason County residents from all walks of life joined us to fight the Simpson and ADAGE incinerators.  We are also opposed to the TESC incinerator.  Here are a few pictures from yesterday.   This even will repeat every Tuesday at noon  at 1610 N. Olympic Hwy in Shelton until ADAGE decides to pack up.

First a Video of the Grays Harbor Paper 15MW biomass incinerator .  This incinerator is just half the the size of the proposed Green Diamond / Simpson Incinerator and  1/4 the size of the proposed ADAGE incinerator.

Laura Lewis runs Incinerator Free Mason County and is running for Mason County Commissioner District #3. Here she is with her two son's at the start of the protest.

This passerby was given a warm greeting by the group and he might join in next week.  He wears make up to advertise his band.

Incinerator Free Mason County also had a booth at the Mason County fair over the weekend.  ADAGE had a booth as well.
