Some evangelicals are worried about the planet, too

A few years ago, a group of evangelical Christians put together an "Evangelical Climate Initiative," and developed a television commercial as part of an effort to be better stewards of the planet. But their efforts were derailed by a cabal of evangelical right-wingers like Colson and Dobson -- I guess they think we humans are doing just fine as stewards of the planet already. You can read more here (New York Times).  The Evangelical Christian Initiative produced a pretty slick television commercial.  And Fox News did a deplorable interview with a couple of the evangelical leaders. (To see the interview, go to this page, then click on the "Evangelical Climate Initiative" link under videos on the left side of the page.)

Those darn Catholics!

Why do they always have to go against the grain when it comes to.....oh wait. Way to go Catholics!

Now if they could get more of their fan-base going to church they might be in control of the world again ;)
