Poster Calendar June 2008 (retired)

This is a teaser calendar: today and tomorrow. For the month of June. For the month of July.

For a closer view of any given poster, left Mouse-click the poster. Sometimes there are mouseovers, so if you're into that sort of thing just kind of sloooowleeee move your mouse pointer over the pictures. If you're interested in movie or Theater times their posters are (usually) hyperlinked to their respective schedules.

If your event is not on here I apologize. I do not always see every flyer and sometimes the pictures fuzz up and are illegible. I look preferentially upon flyer distribution at places which are not your store. I encourage mingling, or hiring a distro team. Hiring local artists to design eye catching posters and flyers is good.

If you find yourself inclined to bliss poetic about some just seen show please feel free to leave a comment (or have discussions) on that show's date. History is nothing without its people.

It's all a work in progress, which is code for sometimes the things that I do on OlyBlog suck and sometimes they work out well. More than anything it just furthers my diabolical plot of making OlyBlog an indispensable resource for Olympia.

The vegan BBQ for Safe Place

The vegan BBQ for Safe Place was a casual good time. I learned about making music from brainwaves from Alex (AE) and saw some of the talented local musicians play. Also, saw some wonderful art by Am"Lee". A diverse, lively, and creative group in this here town :)

The Mighty-O donuts, the gourmet breads and toppings and the soy brats on potato roll were yummy, as well!

All for a great, great organization

Rainy Day Records' window is almost always along my walk through downtown. I also frequent the poster board by the Free Wall, the metal door(?) next to the telephone in front of OFS, Last Word Books's window and sometimes, but not always, the Old School Pizzeria window.

Sorry, but I cannot start taking submissions. Some day this may change, but for the time being I simply do not have the time to deal with the deluge of people hooking into free advertising.
