My container of Tree Top 100% Juice Apple Grape has the slogan "Real Fruit From Real People" on the label.

Not "For Real People." Not "By Real people."

"From."

The illustration portrays an orchard, and in the middle are, yes, people. Three of them. With baskets. Baskets filled with ... ?

I shudder to think of it.

By the way, the juice is pretty good in spite of the slogan.

Merwyn would have to mention grapefruit

I love grapefruit juice but take statin drugs, which don't like it.

How you feeling today Larry?

How's recovery going so far?

I'm trying to dream up more fruit puns but I can't think of anything juicy. I like my puns to have a punch to them. Last time I ate grapes I was angry, so, you know, they were grapes of wrath.

Looking at it from the Core

Transcript of John Ratzenberger on Lou Dobbs (not my favorite, not by a long shot).

<...>RATZENBERGER: Oh, sure it is, especially the fact that there is no regulation in China. An article in the Boston paper1 yesterday, I was down there, and the apple juice you're feeding your kids is coming from China. It's the concentrate, reconstituted apple juice. There's only one company, according to the article -- it's Martinelli's -- that uses American apples.

What happened? Did we forget how to grow apples in Washington or the upper state in New York?

I don't think so.

Yes, it's a big danger. It's a very big danger because all we're doing is feeding the dragon that one day is going to turn its head and come after us.

it's those damn wine lovers

They have Eastern Washington going bananas over grapes instead of apples. It really is a shame, I think.

Does it violate the social contract to ask you to quit your wine-ing?

Martinelli's is the only

Martinelli's is the only apple juice I like!  It's so yummy.  I always attributed it to the bottle it came in.  Especially the little ones!

hmmm

Appearently OlyBloggers don't care where their juice comes from. Maybe we should start apple to get some real numbers on the matter?
