Do you want to help make government programs more effective? Do you have a background in qualitative and quantitative research and analysis? Washington State’s Employment Security Department is looking for a Research Investigator 3 for our Labor Market and Economic Analysis Branch. As a Research Investigator, you will conduct objective, empirical evaluations of policy outcomes in Unemployment Insurance and WorkSource. You will conduct studies of economic impact through the application of analytical statistical methods. You will work with an advisory panel and department management to translate policy and program questions into researchable questions, develop and propose a research design, and prepare a work plan to implement research. You will also write research reports and issue papers for both technical and lay audiences following professional standards. Position is located in Lacey, WA. Salary range 61 ($52,104 - $63,388 annually DOQ). While recruitment is open until filled, it is in your best interest to apply as soon as possible for consideration. For more information, please see the entire Research Investigator 3 posting.
