Rest In Peace, Peggy

Peggy, an Olympia community member for nearly 4 years, died yesterday at the ripe old age of nearly 7. Old, that is, for a guinea pig. Peggy liked raisins, timothy hay, and grapes. She is loved and will be missed very much.

That's sad. I used to have guineas and they're very fun and affectionate - with distinct personalities.

At least now Peggy's chirping and whistling in a place with no electrical cords or recliner chairs.

I hope that her adopted sibling, Gina, met Peggy on the rainbow bridge and led her to vast fields of fresh timothy hay and spinach where they are both popcorn jumping wildly and running around freely and happily.

Furkids are the greatest, I agree. I chose the names Gina and Peg because they sound like guinea pig.

Thanks for sharing the photo. I lost my first catkid to feline aids...it's heartbreaking to see them suffer. I'm sorry for your loss.
