Scattered Thoughts - Open Thread

  • There are a couple polemic signs held by the same man being discussed today. Many times I've driven past one and flipped the bird in response. Many other times I've driven past the other and given a thumbs up. Ah, the complexities of life, philosophy and convictions.

  • Support Community Radio. Support Independent Musicians. Support the right to hear News that Clear Channel's too afraid to give you. Call KAOS and become a member. For as little as $35 (for the 35th anniversary of our station) you can help support the community. (Membership brings with it discounts to numerous local businesses.)

    Call 867-KAOS during your favorite show - or during some other show you feel deserves a nod of recognition - or during one of the late night shows since those programmers often feel left out of the love.

  • Life's gotten easier since Pizza Hut developed online ordering. Now if only we could get The Reef, Quality Burrito, Peppers, Le Voyeur, Old Skool, Saigon Rendezvous and The Brotherhood to follow suit.

  • Tammy just finished a two-month Improv class at the Olympia Center. They decided to add another two months which begins tomorrow. Tammy signed up to continue, I was convinced to join. This could get interesting.

  • Is there anyone here I still owe a drink too? There's Meta who's got a couple of drinks coming, I think I offered coffee to someone else during a tense moment.

    We should have an Olyblog Poetry Slam. Somebody set it up and make it happen.
