Sometime last night my bicycle was taken from the backyard of the house where I live. It's a Jamis Aurora ('06 model,) there are quite a few of these around town. Mine was a 62cm (large) and it has fenders and a rear rack (Jaand Expedition rack). The rear tire was replaced a few months ago, and has a tan "skin" wall. It was quite dirty when it was stolen.

The front rack was not attached to the bike. It also had some stickers. The one on the top tube was a FCNL sticker that reads, "War is Not the Answer." The seat tube had a "Buy Local" Oly Food Co-op sticker. The rear rack was sporting a Progressive Democrats of America sticker that reads "Impeach Bush & Cheney."

Ralph Nader is scheduled to appear on the Bill Maher show on HBO tonight. Also scheduled to appear is Chris Rock! Sounds like it will be a good show.

Richard Hayes Philllips will be in Olympia this Thursday, Sept 18, 7 PM. He will speak at Media Island (816 Adams, across Adams from the Olympia Library). Please see the attached flyer and forward this to anyone you know who might be interested.

Richard began investigating the Ohio election when he received an unsolicited e-mail containing obviously erroneous election results from Cleveland. He quickly found that hundreds of votes in certain precincts had inexplicably shifted from John Kerry to other Presidential candidates. He then spent 3 years compiling irrefutable evidence of election fraud in Ohio in 2004. His new book on his findings is Witness to a Crime, a Citizens' Audit of an American Election.

He is stopping on his way between Portland and Seattle and this just came together very quickly yesterday so we were unable to find a larger location. • 1983 Trek 501 road bike. Thief pushed the rider in the bushes, grabbed the bike and took off. Stolen in West Oly on Cooper Point Rd. just off the road across from Capitol HS field. Crazy!
