Wow...

That post is getting me way more attention than I expected (or wanted!).  Thanks for the buzz, Sarah!

Whoops

Let me know if you don't want attention sent your way, your 25 things post stuck in my mind so much that I could not help meself. I collect Olympia blogs in the Oly public bloglines I maintain and I can always take a listing off. You know how it is online, we never really know what to expect traffic wise. :)

HOW do you find these...

...interesting and obscure blogs?  thanks for keeping me posted about other OlyBloggers, I know that my cousins were particularly thrilled that the library participated in Capital City Pride, so hats off to AgathaFrye and all loving librarians!  love, etc olyruby

Oly public bloglines

I do searches through technorati, google blog search, and other sites for Olympia themed blogs and then collect them through the Oly public bloglines I maintain. Folks can send me suggestions too. Plus posts on OlyBlog and new members occasionally have links to blogs new to me.

I scan through the bloglines several times a day and periodically come up with a post here for other readers, usually based on some sort of loose theme. I have fun.

It's all good.

I really don't mind, Sarah.  It's just a good reminder to me that I need to be careful what I say about the library on the internets.  I'm flattered that you liked it.

Oh, and...

Thanks, Ms. Ruby, for the kind words about the Pride event!  I was trying to get your attention and say hi, but you were deeply involved in conversation with someone and I didn't want to interrupt.  I wish I had a quarter for everyone who said, "I'm so GLAD that the library is here!"  It felt really good to be a presence in our community that way.
