Come and check out the first Edible Forest Garden that we installed (now in it's 3rd year) and see where Terra Commons lives, and give us a hand in helping do some fall cleaning. Projects Include: Organizing and weeding nursery plants Building Green House Making Compost bins Planting the Blueberry bog General weeding and feeding processing quinoa seeds ...and more Terra Commons also has a wish list: For our office: -20'x20' tarp -(2) 20' 2x4 boards -(3) 15' 2x4 boards -(1) 20' 2x6 board 100 ft. 10 gauge electric cord plus 25 ft. 12 gauge electric cord ($150 Value) We have a Coleman propane camping stove to be used by our interns and workers but we need the adaptor to hook it to a bigger propane tank. For Greenhouse: (35) 2'x12' Palruf pvc clear roofing ($750 Value) (2) bags of 250 count roofing screws w/ rubber gaskets (2) boxes of 50 count wood screws (5) "bendy" boards all the rest of the frame we already have We are writing a grant to help pay for the greenhouse but any donations will be greatly appreciated and are tax deductible though our non-profit status. Donations can be made of actual items or money to help pay for them. To get to Terra Commons, head north on cooper point road and take a left on 36th ave NW. Go .8 miles and take a left on 36th loop and take the first driveway on the left and go all the way to the end. You will see our office and nursery there, hard to miss.
