A place to talk about not allegedly having one's rights violated, to discuss what it is like to NOT be "brutalized" by the OPD, and how to hold the City of Olympia accountable for NOT supporting "illegal" actions.

Coming soon! NOT dragging truck drivers from their trucks and placing them under citizen's arrest for aiding an "illegal war"

Stay tuned for "I was acting as a law abiding citizen and nothing happened!"

Don't change the channel! Tonight at 11, "Windows, and the people who break them."

Special report on dragging dumpsters into the streets. Tips, techniques and ideas!

Pepper! It's not just for spray! Easy recipes and uses for pepper in your favorite foods!

Batons. A cop's favorite weapon, or tool of hot cheerleaders and majorettes?

Of course, this should NOT be treated as a serious discussion.  Any attempts to be serious will be laughed at and reported to the OPD.

I Think He's Just Feelin'

froggy!

ribbit, ribbit!

Or full of whit!  Or is it wit?

Actually not...

Two beers and a meal of fried chicken.  Actually am just rather goofy.  Today was not very challenging at work, and about 90% of my energy needs to be spent.

Besides, parodys are fun.  I'm trying to un-hijack Robert's thread here, and provide a place for the witty and sarcastic banter going on over there.

ROFL!

Maybe you should put down that beer & walk away with what's left of your dignity? LOL!
»

Dignity? Here?

I think I spent that a long time ago...

Left It In

TJ huh?

Dignity? We don't need no steekin' dignity

Just US dollars.  Lots and lots of dollars!  Fists full of dollars!

Yeah, hijack a road (and cry

Yeah, hijack a road (and cry about it when you get what's coming) but don't hijack a thread.

Please give me a second grace. Please give me a second face. I've fallen far down, the first time around, now I just sit on the ground in your way.

I hope you don't believe in

I hope you don't believe in karma.

Why? I don't break laws -

Why? I don't break laws - consequently I've never been arrested. What's karma got to do with it? Maybe the United States will get attacked someday because citizens of some other country refused to block their military's cargo? Would that be karma biting me in the butt? Or would it be that we were defenseless because the military couldn't get through the crowd of college kids?

Please give me a second grace. Please give me a second face. I've fallen far down, the first time around, now I just sit on the ground in your way.

What's the purpose of the kind of hijacking

i saw here on Olyblog. Is their a higher justification I don't know about?
»

No, the hijacking shouldn't

No, the hijacking shouldn't have been done. There was a reason I stayed out of it; I disagreed completely with Rob and with the idea of the event but didn't like what was happening in his post. I just found it hypocritical (or perhaps ironic...but definitely not sarcastic) that people's threads are meant to be respected but not their roads.

Please give me a second grace. Please give me a second face. I've fallen far down, the first time around, now I just sit on the ground in your way.

Well, as long as it isn't sarcastic!

I don't mind a good hijacking as long as it's done for a legitimate reason, other than being an asshat.

One time I was speeding, and

One time I was speeding, and I saw the flashing lights, so I pulled over, rolled down the window, killed the engine, turned the inside light on, and left my hands on the window. The cop asked for my license, registration and proof of insurance. Two were in the glove compartment, one was in my wallet; I explained my wallet was located in my inside coat pocket, the officer said okay.

None of my communication with the cop was evasive, hesitant, annoyed, irritated, belligerent. No excuses were offered other than "Sorry, I wasn't paying attention". I ended up signing what wasn't an admission of guilt and was sent on my merry way with only a one-hundred seventy odd dollar ticket and a monkeywrenched Geico payment plan. No other acts of brutality occurred.

Damn it's great to have been born privileged. If I was one inch shorter, or had inherited my Grandma's darker skin, I'd have been dragged out the window by my throat and then stomped on the head. That's what always happened to everyone else by the OPD.

Please give me a second grace. Please give me a second face. I've fallen far down, the first time around, now I just sit on the ground in your way.
