Man, I sure miss the Olympian Comments

EDIT: I checked the Oly Comments and I see the "Real CCM" fan issued a disclaimer. So nevermind, it's not one of our own. I have no idea who the slandering ccm is.

This one time only I referred to myself there as The Real CCM Fan - I ran into trouble with people posing under variants of my name when I used my real name in the comments, and then later when I switched to CCM Fan there would still be times when someone else posted crap under that name. Pretty much the reason why I rarely even glance in the Haloscan anymore.

I understand many versions of Larry still posts there.

[EDIT: If there's any dueling I want in on the action. To pick at an old scab, I'm surprised - based on what CCM stands for - that nobody's claimed to be "CCM Fan's" Christian Caregiver.

[Edit Again: Wonderful comeback, Mr. Anon! And you're right, at Olyblog's worst we're miles above the bottom-feeders and tapeworms of that other place.]

I don't think the Olympian really has the best interests of the community in mind in maintaining that ridiculous comments section the way it is. It's supposed to be moderated, but I don't see much moderation actually occurring.

I thought about going through the archives and collecting some of the worst comments into an archive, but where do you start? I still feel sick to my stomach when I think about the comments from when tent city was downtown. I actually had nightmares about them. Thats real hate on those boards, and it freaks me out.
