One reasonable and scientific analysis of the atmospheric phenomenon is that with increased heat in the atmosphere, there will be increased intensity of storms, because heat is energy. There will be stronger storms, more frequent, with heavier precipitation (because warmer air can also hold more water.)
Of course, local weather patterns will always vary. But one reasonable expectation is that weather patterns in general will become disrupted as more energy accumulates in the atmosphere.
