Submitted by OperaGirl on Wed, 02/13/2008 - 9:25am.Well, it's the Olympia Symphony concert so they chose the title but here are some links so you can read a bit about the pieces. Here is some info about the Haydn (also called the Missa in Angustiis or Mass in troubled times) and a little about the Beethoven. The Haydn is quite jovial for being a Mass which is fun. It always makes me want to dance when I listen to it!

Submitted by OperaGirl on Mon, 03/10/2008 - 4:31pm.Tickets are still available but not a huge amount. Maybe 70 in the nosebleed (the sound is great up there even though the performers look like ants!), a small handful in the next two balconys and then about 80 or so in the orchestra.
Also be aware of the Junior Patron Program which opens up the dress rehearsal to students.
