I'm impressed with the Thurston County Democrats. They have a nice lookin' web site, easy to use. They've opened up their platform writing process so that anyone can watch and observe and even discuss.

Hey, the political process at times can seem mighty dense and unfriendly. I'm all for letting the sun shine in. Imagine, you can follow the process and evolution of a county political party platform. You can use their forums for discussion. What exactly is a platform? The platform is the one chance we have every couple of years to clearly articulate our values, defining who we are and what we stand for. |
